It is pressed into the DILEX-FCS carrier profile after tiling and forms the visible, approximately 1/8" (3 mm) wide soft movement zone, which mimics a grout line. The inlay can be removed and replaced, including for a change of colour, and eliminates the need for caulking at the joint.

Installation

Grouting can be done before or after the inlay is installed, but never grout over the inlay or the protective cover. Using a screwdriver, pry and peel up the orange protective cover, scrape away hardened cementitious material from the tile edge with the tool provided, then vacuum up the debris. Starting at one end, press the first few inches of inlay into the carrier profile and continue with the tool provided; water can be used as a lubricant to ease installation.

Fluorinated, platinum-cured silicone with a Shore hardness of 60, treated with a low-friction coating that limits the accumulation of dust.

Specifications

Colour

Cream

Material

Silicone

Visible width

1/8" (3 mm)

Length

100' (31 m)

Reference

FIS300C

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0531/5647/9157/files/schluter-dilex-fis-100ft-dilex-fis-silicone-ins-gs-fis300gs-profile-de-transition-ceramed-6226257.webp?v=1791548226
