The Sikafloor Quartzite HDB system is a two-layer, 5 mm (3/16 in) thick, decorative epoxy flooring system. The first layer consists of a 3 mm (1/8 in) thick, trowel-applied, heavy-duty epoxy underlayment used to reprofile rough or deteriorated concrete surfaces or to create thin-bed slope changes in wet areas to provide positive slopes for drains. The second layer is a 2 mm thick, broadcast and sealed epoxy floor consisting of multi-colored quartz aggregates finished with clear topcoats to produce an aesthetically pleasing, seamless finish. Final surface appearance options include: an integrated ledge base, a gloss, satin, or matt surface, and a variable surface texture to produce a range of slip-resistant finishes.
