The Piranha sharpening stone is one of the most important items in our product line, as it is essential for maintaining the life and cutting quality of diamond tools that cut any form of porcelain or ultra-compact materials. When the cutting performance of your diamond blade, drill bit, or grinding wheel decreases, it is often not a dead segment, but a dull segment. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE: When your diamond product experiences a decrease in cutting quality, follow these steps. 1) Reduce the rotation speed of your tool by half. 2) Pass your segment through the sharpening stone at least twice. (For blades, slowly use the small length across the width of the stone.) 3) For wet-use items ONLY, use water to sharpen your diamond segment. For both wet- and dry-use items, sharpen your diamond segments dry. 4) DO NOT use the sharpening stone on electroplated or vacuum-brazed diamond segments. 5) Once your segment is sharpened, test it on a small area of ​​the workpiece until you are satisfied with the segment's restoration.
