Tank/10 is a high performance liquid latex waterproofing compound, intended for use in demanding wet environments. The elastomeric properties of Tank/10 provide a protective and flexible barrier that reduces the risk of cracks transferring from the subfloor to finished tile and stone coverings. Tank/10 provides a homogeneous, monolithic moisture barrier. With its exceptional elastomeric properties, Tank/10 expands and contracts - other liquid sealants expand, but lack the memory to contract again. Tank/10 has a permeability rating of 0.061, which far exceeds the threshold for use in steam showers. Tank/10 remains usable for two freeze/thaw cycles. Tank/10 typically dries in less than 2 hours. For waterproofing, apply Tank/10 at a thickness of 20mm (two coats applied liberally). Tank/10 has a shelf life of 3 years (when stored indoors at temperatures between 40° and 110° in the original unopened and sealed container). Coverage: approximately 60 square feet per gallon. easy to apply with a brush, ½" nap paint roller or trowel. Tank/10 can be applied to many subfloors, including plastic, all types of ceramic tile mortar.
