Best in class, ARDEX 8+9 Rapid Setting Crack Sealing and Insulation Compound is a two-component, solvent-free, cement-based membrane. Composed of an acrylic-based liquid and a powder made from Portland cement and other hydraulic cements, ARDEX 8+9 can be easily applied with a paint roller or brush to produce a highly flexible waterproof coating. This coating protects against water infiltration from above and provides an excellent bond layer for ARDEX tile and stone mortars. When installed correctly, ARDEX 8+9 reduces the risk of efflorescence, and it is IAPMO certified for use as a shower pan. Includes only the "powder" part of the mixture.
