Crain - Carpet Cutter

This tool cuts excess carpet at the wall, leaving just enough to tuck it between the baseboard and the endless strip. With this trimmer, the blades are easily replaced by removing the blade holder. Once the blade holder is removed, the blades are accessible from the top of the blade holder. To reinsert the blade holder, insert one of the pointed edges into a relief of a wedge and lift the blade holder to separate the wedges. To adjust the groove, when the blade holder is reinserted, place the blade holder bosses into one of the four slots formed on each shim. Six shims are provided for blade height adjustment, and each shim includes four bushings for throat adjustment. Blades: 184.
