Crain - Straight Carpet Spreader

The regular carpet spreader is made of thicker, 16-gauge plated steel with no notches. It holds the carpet on the tack strip when the tension is released, allowing the pins to be better pushed into the carpet backing. Without the notches, the tool is a better folding tool. Push it along the wall with pressure on the handle, and it edges the carpet without catching any threads. The thicker blade won't bend under load. The black plastic handle is ergonomically shaped.
