Crain - Quarter Moon Knife

This knife is used to cut excess solder rod from the joint area after cooling so that the joint area is level with the rest of the floor. It is used in two steps with cutting guide no. 986. First, insert the cutting guide under the knife and cut the bulk of the material in a first pass. Next, remove the cutting guide and make a second pass with the knife only. The thin cut of the second pass ends at the level of the surrounding ground. The knife comes with a protective pouch. The blade is resharpenable. Cutting guide is not included.
