Crain - Pressure Roller

This tool is used to solder joints in areas where a quick tip does not work well, such as bulging areas. The soldering rod is threaded through the hollow handle and placed under the brass pressure roller. The pressure roller has a groove that allows the welding rod to be guided and pressed into the weld bead area. While the roller presses and holds the wand, a heat gun with a pencil-shaped nozzle welds it in place.
