Crain - Carpet Punch

The high-carbon steel tip penetrates the carpet backing to quickly detach it from the tack strip. It can also be used to lightly stretch carpet in tight areas, such as around toilets. Push the tip into the tack strip and lift it up to stretch the carpet. The tip has an opposite flat end housed in the top of the hard plastic handle for hammering if necessary. The handle is rounded to fit comfortably in the palm of the hand.
