Crain - Flex Shaft Roller

The flexible axle roller consists of two pivoting axles. On each axle are mounted seven steel star rollers (14 in total). As the roller is moved forward and backward, the axles pivot outward and then inward. This action mixes the carpet fibers and brings the seam edges together for less visible seams. Star wheels press the mat backing into the hot melt adhesive. The total width of the rollers is 4".
