The Stand-Up Carpet Cutter cuts glued carpet into narrow strips for faster removal, and is ideal for quick cutting of carpet from a roll. It features a hardened steel tip and a precision machined slot to guide a utility blade. The tip easily pierces glued carpet for a quick start. Then, when the tip is pushed, it travels across the subfloor and lifts the carpet up to the utility blade where it is cut. The heavy-duty fiberglass handle telescopes in length from 50 to 85 inches to maintain an optimal cutting angle, and locks twice for added security.
