Georgia-Pacific - DensShield Fiberglass Tile Backer - 32" x 60" x 1/2"

DensShield ceramic tile underlayment is a substrate for ceramic tile installations on floors, walls, and ceilings. It features a built-in moisture barrier that protects tile installations and the wall cavity from the effects of moisture in humid areas such as bathrooms and kitchens. It is the ideal underlayment for new construction, bathroom renovations, swimming pools, and many other damp or high-humidity areas. It can also be painted or used in non-humid areas. DensShield panels feature fiberglass batts and a moisture-resistant core. They are lighter and easier to install than heavy, awkward-to-handle cement board tile backers. DensShield tile backer is listed by GREENGUARD as microbially resistant according to ASTM D 6329 and has achieved a rating of 10, the highest level of performance for mold resistance, according to ASTM D 3273.
