Gundlach - Sewing weight

The sewing weight has a perforated white plastic base with an air gap between the base and the steel weight to allow heat and moisture to dissipate quickly. It performs better than a toolbox tray because it exerts even pressure without discoloration caused by heat retention or a rusty toolbox tray. The white plastic base glides smoothly on carpet and doesn't snag like a plywood base or toolbox tray would. Can be used on joints made with 3 or 6 inch wide hot melt tape. Measures 6" wide x 12" long x 3-1/4" high. Weighs 16 pounds.
