The F6B series is a right angle aluminum stair nosing designed to fit over the edge of steps in public stairways, exit routes and all other applications where finding in the dark is a problem. The Ecoglo F6B series is designed to be visible for an extended period of time, well after the lights have gone out, to improve safety and efficiency of exits. This step nosing also provides an additional non-slip surface, which complements the anti-slip properties of the step itself. Providing excellent visibility of the step edge in both light and darkness, the flat stair nosing is designed to reduce falls and improve egress speed in all evacuation situations. The F6B series flat stair nosing can also be installed on steps covered with industrial or commercial type carpet (without underlay) with a maximum thickness of 6 mm.
