QEP's natural cork underlayment provides an exceptional sound barrier for all types of flooring. In addition to being an environmentally friendly option, cork is also a healthy choice. It is naturally hypoallergenic and mold and mildew resistant. Natural cork underlayment reduces sound transmission and helps protect the flooring from the transfer of stress cracks from the subfloor. It also reduces thermal transmission, making it ideal for radiant heating systems. QEP Natural Cork products are FloorScore certified for improved indoor air quality and can contribute to LEED green building credits.

• For use under ceramic tile, stone, marble, glue-down wood floors, and floating floor systems
• Acts as a crack isolation membrane, resisting the transfer of stress cracks up to 1/8" from the subfloor to the floor surfaces
• Sound-absorbing, it reduces sound transmission from the floor surface upwards, as well as from the floor to the living space below
• Reduces thermal transmission, increasing the efficiency of underfloor heating systems
