QEP Natural Cork Underlayment is an exceptional sound barrier for all types of flooring. In addition to being an environmentally friendly option, cork is also a healthy choice for any space. It is naturally hypoallergenic and mold and mildew resistant. Natural cork underlayment reduces sound transmission and helps protect flooring from the transfer of stress cracks from the subfloor. It also reduces thermal transmission, making it ideal for use with radiant heating systems. QEP Natural Cork products can contribute to LEED Green Building credits. Compatible with tile, porcelain, stone, laminate, and click-through engineered wood floors. 1/2" (12 mm) natural cork is hypoallergenic and helps create healthy indoor air quality. Resists the transfer of stress cracks (up to 1/8") from the subfloor to flooring surfaces. Provides acoustic sound control and cushioning for softer, quieter footsteps. Easy to install on and above the floor in glued-down and floating floor installations.
