ROBERTS 6399 firm-grip, pressure-sensitive transition adhesive is formulated for the installation of resilient flooring, including luxury vinyl tile (LVT), luxury vinyl plank (LVP), vinyl composite tile (VCT), and carpet tiles. This high-bond transition adhesive offers exceptional shear and lateral force resistance, making it ideal for high-traffic areas and performing well under rolling loads. ROBERTS 6399 applies as a pressure-sensitive adhesive and cures by polymerization to form a permanent bond. When used as a pressure-sensitive adhesive, it offers a 60-minute open time and a 12-hour working time. For a wet-set application, the open time is 20 minutes and the working time is 40 minutes. Enhanced with Microban technology, this product features antimicrobial protection that helps inhibit the growth of bacteria that cause stains and odors, which can lead to product degradation. Easy to clean, it dries clear, offers high moisture resistance, and has low odor and low VOC content (< 1 g/L). It is FloorScore and CRI certified.
