ROBERTS Multi-Purpose Carpet and Sheet Vinyl Adhesive is formulated for the installation of carpet and felt-backed sheet vinyl flooring. This is a good tacky adhesive that offers great flexibility in terms of open time—not too fast, not too slow for medium-sized jobs. This product contains Microban, an antimicrobial protectant that helps fight the growth of stain- and odor-causing bacteria that can lead to product degradation. For outdoor installation only, it covers up to 180 sq ft per gallon (5.11 sq m per 3.8 L) depending on the type of trowel, substrate, and application conditions. It offers an open time of up to 30 minutes and a working time of 90 minutes and a drying time of 24 to 48 hours. It offers a shelf life of 2 years from the date of production when stored in its original unopened packaging and a lifetime warranty for installations performed by a professional certified by a flooring industry association.
