Rubi - Extreme notching wheel for TS-MAX, TR-MAGNET and SPEED-MAGNET 7/8"

The constant evolution of ceramic materials poses a challenge to ceramic tile installation professionals. With the arrival of porcelain stoneware, the hardness of the materials has become the main concern of the professional. Today, with new production processes, and with the consolidation of porcelain stoneware as the most used material, as well as the growing presence of large formats or ceramic slabs, the main handicap is the difficulty in cutting ceramic tiles. This difficulty is the result of the combination of hardness, thickness, surface finish and any internal stresses of the material itself. For the most difficult ceramic materials, RUBI offers the EXTREME range of scoring wheels and rollers. EXTREME grooving wheels and rollers are made of high quality tungsten carbide, with a special titanium carbide coating. Thanks to this coating, RUBI EXTREME rollers and scorers suffer less wear during use. But in addition, EXTREME scorers and rollers, when mounted on a bearing, completely eliminate the friction of the wheel itself with the wheel shaft. This combination allows the behavior of the EXTREME scoring wheel to be much superior to the rest, providing a smooth scratch and a lifespan of 300%, compared to SILVER scoring wheels and rollers under the same conditions of use. The rollers in the EXTREME range are specially designed and recommended for scraping ceramic materials with rough and/or structured finishes (textures or reliefs). EXTREME rotors are compatible with cutters from the RUBI range: TS-MAX, TR-MAGNET and SPEED-MAGNET in its 10 mm caliber version and with the TZ and TX-MAX ranges in the 12 mm caliber version. In addition, the EXTREME roller from RUBI is compatible with the TQ, TP-T and TP-S manual cutters, as well as with the manual SLIM CUTTER for the ceramic sheet cutting system from the SLAB SYSTEM range.
