06-4VP800 - Premium 800 Grit Diamond Polishing Pad For easy stone polishing, this polishing pad can be used wet or dry. Velcro backing is used for quick attachment and detachment of the gazebo cushion (Velcro attachment sold separately). Use the 800 grit pad to bring out a little more color and clarity in the stone, leaving a smooth matte finish. Make sure all previous scratches are removed before moving on to the next grain. Polish from 50 grit to 3000 grit respectively. Use coarser pads at gentler speeds (50 to 3000 grits = coarsest to softest. DO NOT exceed 3500 RPM when polishing. Larger diameters are preferred by stone and tile professionals for faster polishing times and longer life, while smaller diameters are reserved for amateurs and enthusiasts. They can also be used to remove stains on stone like marble and travertine.
