Sealer's Choice® Gold is a water-based penetrating sealer, no-sheen and natural-looking, formulated for maximum stain protection. It penetrates the stone or grout instead of forming a surface film: the material looks the way it did before sealing.
Its rapid-cure formula protects in under 4 hours, with a full cure at 24 hours. That is what lets you seal at the end of the day and put the room back in service the next morning.
It allows moisture vapour transmission — the substrate breathes, which stops moisture being trapped beneath the sealer. And it is built to penetrate dense, low-porosity surfaces, where an ordinary sealer sits on top.

Two uses — sealer or grout release
Applied at least 2 hours before grouting, it works as a grout release: the grout does not grab the tile and wipes off cleanly. One product covering two stages of the job.
⚠️ What to know before applying
- Never let the sealer dry on the surface. A white film forms. If it does, scrub with NanoScrub cleaner and a white nylon pad.
- It may slightly lighten or darken some surfaces. Test in a discreet corner first.
- It prevents neither wear nor etching from acids or caustic chemicals.
- The surface must be dry, clean and free of wax, sealer or finish.
- Protect from freezing in storage.
Can be used on
All natural stone — marble, granite, slate, travertine, limestone — plus porcelain, quarry tile, Saltillo, terra cotta, cement pavers, masonry and grout.
Coverage
300 to 1,500 sq ft per gallon depending on porosity and texture, which is roughly 75 to 375 sq ft for this 946 ml size. Polished stone takes very little; a textured surface takes considerably more.
