ARDEX FEATHER FINISH is a self-drying, cement-based finishing underlayment formulated with a blend of Portland cement and other hydraulic cements. It provides a smooth, permanent surface over a variety of substrates prior to the installation of today's most demanding floor coverings, including sheet vinyl and VCT (vinyl composition tile). Ready for flooring installation in as little as 15 minutes. Interior use only.

Technical Data

• Mix ratio: 2 1/2 pints (2.4 L) of water per 10 lb (4.5 kg) bag. For smaller quantities: 2 parts powder to 1 part water.
• Coverage: 16.7 sq. ft. at 1/4" thickness — 33.3 sq. ft. at 1/8" thickness — 100 to 300 sq. ft. as skim coat (varies by surface texture)
• Ready for flooring: 15 to 20 minutes at 70 °F (21 °C)
• Shelf life: 9 months, if unopened
• Storage: cool, dry place away from direct sunlight
