The best-in-class, fast-setting ARDEX 8+9 Crack Sealing and Isolation Compound is a two-component, cement-based, solvent-free membrane. Composed of an acrylic-based liquid and a powder made from Portland cement and other hydraulic cements, ARDEX 8+9 can be easily applied with a paint roller or brush to produce a highly flexible, waterproof coating. This coating protects against water infiltration from above and provides an excellent bonding layer for ARDEX tile and stone mortars. When installed properly, ARDEX 8+9 reduces the risk of efflorescence and is IAPMO certified for use as a shower pan. Includes both the liquid and powder portions of the mix.
