ARDEX X 3 Thin-Set Mortar is a Portland concrete-based, polymer-modified mortar that provides good bond strength, slump resistance, and a 3-hour pot life. ARDEX X 3 mixes to produce a creamy, easy-to-apply thin-set mortar that is water- and weather-resistant. ARDEX X 3 can be used for setting quarry tile, ceramic tile, and most natural stones on a variety of interior or exterior surfaces; it can also be used for setting porcelain tile over absorbent interior concrete and other cementitious surfaces. ARDEX X 3 is recommended for installing most tile sizes, including mosaics, and can be used over concrete floors with in-floor heating systems.
