This steel pull bar is designed to withstand heavy hammer blows when needed to join boards. It has a box-section, shank-shaped hammering head that is welded to the body. The body, 3/16" thick, is 3" wide to reduce lengthwise flexing when hammering. The overall length of the tool is 16 1/2" to create a 14 1/2" working space when used close to the wall. Felt pads on its underside reduce marring of the board face.
