This inexpensive yet versatile cutter is ideal for rough cutting of rolled carpet. It can accept split razor blades, utility blades, or Crain No. 300Y blades. When used with utility or Crain No. 300Y blades, the blade angle cuts from the back of the carpet to prevent shearing and snagging of the fibers. Steel springs on either side of the cutter hold the carpet to the floor during cutting. The large dial allows for quick and easy blade changes.
