The low profile and narrow handle of this iron make it easy to assemble the seam near the back of the iron. Two indicator lights indicate power and heating status. Cord life is enhanced by the swivel cord with flexible strain relief that extends the cord out of the sewing area. The sturdy handle and riveted plate are very durable. The rear tip of the base is grooved to grip the wall when the iron is tilted outward. This prevents adhesive from dragging, which can lead to failure. The non-stick coated base and 12' long HSJO cord are standard. The approximate temperature range is 220° - 425°F. Operates at 800 watts.
