The Stand-Up Carpet Cutter cuts glued-down carpet into narrow strips for faster removal and is ideal for fast cutting of rolled carpet. It features a hardened steel tip and a precision-machined slot to guide a utility blade. The tip easily pierces glued-down carpet for a quick start. Then, when the tip is pushed, it moves across the subfloor and lifts the carpet to the utility blade where it is cut. The heavy-duty fiberglass handle telescopes in length from 50 to 85 inches to maintain an optimal cutting angle and double-locks for added security.
