Product Information

The Stand-Up Carpet Cutter cuts glued carpet into narrow strips for faster removal and is ideal for quick roll carpet cutting. It features a hardened steel tip and a precision-machined slot to guide a utility blade. The tip easily pierces the glued carpet for a quick start. Then, when the tip is pushed in, it moves along the subfloor and lifts the carpet up to the utility blade where it is cut. The heavy-duty fiberglass handle telescopes in length from 50 to 85 inches to maintain an optimal cutting angle and locks twice for added safety. Accepts standard utility blades (#295) or hook blades (#996). Replacement tip: #266.
