This tool, designed to cut the back of a rubber or vinyl base to obtain tightly wrapped corners, has a double-pointed blade. The V-point creates a V-shaped groove that fits better into tight plasterboard corners. The U-point creates a wider U-shaped groove for wider corners, or for heavier bases where a wider groove is required. The depth gauge is adjusted with a simple set screw.
