Crain - Joint Cutter Plus

This cutter excels on zigzag ("hydra-shift") carpets, including commercial loop pile and Berber! The blade runs directly behind the center row guide. This keeps the blade clear of the offset yarns, preventing yarn shearing, which causes unsightly seams. The wide base keeps the blade perpendicular to the yarns, further reducing nap shear. The row guide can be fully retracted into the base for superior cutting. The tool can also be used as a cutter to precisely cut carpet up to the Z bar or vinyl molding.
