Crain - Manual Grooving Machine

This manual wall chaser cuts a U-shaped groove along the joint line for welding. It is used to start grooves close to the wall for inserting a power wall chaser, to create grooves in tight spaces such as doorways, or anywhere floors are uneven. It is designed to cut grooves by pulling on the large wooden handle. The adjustable wing guides the U-shaped blade along the joint line and controls the depth of the groove. Depth control prevents gouging and blade lift. The result is a uniform groove at a faster pace. Comes with 3 blades: one pre-loaded on the tool and two rows in the handle.
