TechLevel Lite self-leveling underlayment is a high-quality, flowable, self-leveling, hydraulic cement underlayment formulated with CustomLite Technology. TechLevel Lite is 40% lighter than other self-leveling underlayments, making it easier to pour and transport. Weighing only 1.36 kg per square foot at a 1/2″ (13 mm) thickness, it is 1.36 kg lighter than traditional underlayments and is ideal for installations where weight is a factor. A 30 lb (13.6 kg) bag covers the same area as a 50 lb (22.6 kg) bag.
TechLevel Lite is used to level or flatten floors before installing ceramic tile, natural stone, resilient flooring, carpet, wood, and other floor coverings. This fast-setting underlayment can be applied up to 2″ (5 cm) thick in a single pour and self-levels in minutes. TechLevel Lite can be applied in residential structures with floor joints up to 24″ o.c. Formulated with Controlled Cure Technology, TechLevel Lite helps eliminate installation problems such as bond failure, crumbling, and staining of resilient flooring caused by free moisture found in traditional underlayments.
Leveling requires surveying and the placement of leveling stakes to serve as guides for mortar placement. Refer to ANSI A118.16 and A108.21.
