Product Information

This tool offers a simple way to stretch carpet over the stair tread and shape it around the nosing. Hook the prongs of the gripper into the carpet just before the nosing, then pull the handle down. This creates a pulling action on the prongs, stretching the carpet over the stair tread. At the same time, the lower edge of the tool pushes the carpet under the nosing. The recesses in the lower edge allow you to insert the nose of a stapler for easy stapling. A difficult task is made easier with the stair gripper.
