Description

KOVARA MBX Moisture Barrier is designed to be installed above concrete slabs and under floor coverings to protect these materials—and their adhesives—from staining, warping, or mold growth that can result from water vapor and alkali salts leaching through the concrete slab at up to 99.5% relative humidity. KOVARA MBX is a three-layer composite, with an HDPE bottom layer for moisture protection, a glass mat middle layer for dimensional stability, and a dark blue mineral top layer for enhanced adhesion.
