Impex Stone Mega Alpine natural stone comes in panels and can be installed indoors or outdoors. Shades of mineral grey and natural beige.
- 3 pieces per box, covering 4.36 sq. ft. (0.41 m²).
- Indoors, install with LTC white or LTC grey adhesive mortar; outdoors, with Mason Bond 400. Back-butter both wall and stone.
Substrate preparation
- Recommended substrate: lightweight concrete board (DuROCK®, PermaBASE®).
- Mega collection: lightweight concrete, or gypsum with galvanized lath, at any height because of its weight.
- Plywood: asphalt paper then galvanized lath, at any height.
- For outdoor installation, follow Impex Stone’s masonry guide requirements (galvanized lath required).
- Filling the lath: allow one extra bag of adhesive mortar per 30 sq. ft.
Quantities
- Indoors, LTC adhesive mortar: one bag covers 40 to 50 sq. ft.
- Outdoors, Mason Bond: one bag covers about 30 sq. ft.

Warranty
Manufacturer’s 10-year limited warranty from the date of purchase, with proof of purchase, when the product is installed in accordance with the National Building Code and Impex Stone’s installation guide. It covers defective materials only (labour excluded), is limited to the original purchaser and excludes, among others, non-compliant installation, wall movement, contact with chemicals, and discolouration caused by water, pollutants or friction.
