The F4 series stair nosing is a right-angled aluminum stair nosing for installation on the edge of steps of public staircases, exits and all other places where finding your way in the dark is a problem. The Ecoglo stair nosing. F4 series is designed to be visible for a long time after the lights have gone out, to improve the orderly movement of people. It also provides an additional non-slip surface which adds to the anti-slip properties of the step. The uncoated stair nosing, which works in both daylight and darkness, is designed to prevent falls and improve egress speed in all emergency evacuation situations. The F4 series uncovered stair nosing can also be installed on steps covered with industrial or commercial type carpet (without carpet underlay) up to 0.3 inch (6 mm) thick.

• To install with polyurethane adhesive and mechanical fasteners, or with adhesive alone
• Supplied with pre-drilled holes. Includes stainless steel fasteners and nylon concrete anchors. Hole locations: 2" from each end and approximately 12" apart
• Available in pre-cut lengths (tolerance ± 1/8 in.). Standard lengths of 8 and 10 p
• Fittings fixed or not fixed. It is recommended that trim be unsecured so that it can be cut on site. Trims are attached using a premium polyurethane adhesive
