EMERYTOP 400 is a flowing floor screed based on natural emery aggregates which produces a durable and resilient floor. It provides an economical and abrasion resistant solution for concrete floors subjected to very severe and abusive conditions, where other solutions have failed. The EMERYTOP 400 was designed for the dump floors of transfer stations in the solid waste industry - these are the strongest floors in the world! The main difference between EMERYTOP 400 and other coatings is how it is chemically engineered to resist chemical attack. EMERYTOP 400 chemically strengthens cement paste against chemical attack, which doubles the abrasion resistance compared to other emery toppings and iron toppings. It is this synergy between the emery aggregate and the chemically resistant cement paste which gives EMERYTOP 400 its very high resistance to abrasion.
