Hydro Ban is a thin load-bearing waterproofing/crack isolation membrane that does NOT require the use of fabric on the surface, in grooves and in corners. Hydro Ban is a single-component, self-vulcanizing liquid polymer rubber that forms a flexible, continuous waterproofing membrane. Hydro Ban adheres directly to a wide variety of substrates.
- Allows a 2-hour flood test at 21°C (70°F) or higher
- Does not require the use of fabric (For gaps 3 mm (1/8 in) or less, see DS 663.5 for complete instructions)
- Thin; only 0.5 to 0.8 mm (0.02 to 0.03 in) thick when cured
- Attaches directly to metal
