The STRATA_MAT mat is a latest generation high-performance decoupling membrane, which is used under ceramic and stone, in both residential and commercial applications. It was designed to replace traditional underlay materials. The unique patent-pending design of the STRATA_MAT mat provides improved mechanical bonding with the adhesive mortar, which helps speed up both the drying of the mortar and the installation of the grout. Specifically designed for use with polymer-modified or regular mortars, the STRATA_MAT mat allows the use of the appropriate adhesive mortar for large format or porcelain tiles or stone.
