Mapeheat Cable Guides are used to secure Mapeheat Cable to a substrate prior to installing flooring (tile, stone, laminate, engineered wood, or premium vinyl). Mapeheat Cable Guides can be attached to a wood substrate using nails or screws, or to a concrete substrate using hot glue.
- A constant spacing of 7.5 cm (3") produces 12 W/ft² (standard wattage).
- Alternating spacing of 7.5 cm and 5 cm (3" and 2") produces 15 W/ft² (high wattage), which is preferable for installations on a concrete slab or where heat loss is a problem.
