Description

Mapelastic CI is a premixed, fast-drying liquid rubber crack-isolation membrane for use under ceramic tile or stone in interior and exterior, residential and commercial environments. Mapelastic CI meets ANSI A118.12 and prevents the transfer of non-structural floor cracks up to 3 mm (1/8") in-plane through grout, ceramic tile, and stone. Once dry, after approximately 30 to 50 minutes, Mapelastic CI is ready to receive most MAPEI epoxy mortars or polymer-modified thin-set mortars.
