Product Information

The nVent NUHEAT Standard Mat is a pre-built electric floor heating mat about 1/8 in (3 mm) thick. The heating wire is already laid out in a fixed pattern: no spacing to work out, even heat coverage, and the flooring can go down as soon as the mat is embedded in thinset. This 118 in x 42 in size heats 34.4 sq ft.

You will also need

  • A floor heating thermostat with floor sensor (sold separately)
  • Modified thinset and a notched trowel of at least 1/4 in x 1/4 in
  • Connection by a certified electrician. Mat resistance must be tested before, during and after installation to validate the Nuheat warranty.
