Cam height adjustment allows for the clamping of manufactured or solid products from 3/8″ to 3/4″, and the PrimSurfer meets the need for increased speed and precision for flooring work on large areas as well as residential floors. Its smooth lateral movement in both directions extends the natural motion of the hand and adapts to the installer's agility, allowing for a consistent and comfortable posture that prevents "top-nailing." Not having to repeatedly lift the tool reduces the feeling of tension in the user's arm and back.
TOTAL PRECISION - SIMPLE OPERATION
Another exclusive feature of the 550A is its fully adjustable, dual-action, articulated base, which allows it to handle an endless variety of solid/engineered flooring from 3/8" to 3/4" (10 to 19 mm).
Once placed on the board, the front rollers press firmly against the leading edge of the board to hold the tool in position and prevent damage to the top finish.
The cam-operated base adjustment mechanism maintains a consistent penetration angle, ensuring the fastener sits perfectly in the board's nail pocket with controlled penetration and pinpoint accuracy.
The compact base reduces the gap between nails and contributes to stability.
The 550ALR version offers three key advantages:
