The Treadman will cut your installation time in half or more and provide you with fast, accurate measurements, eliminating the risk of costly errors. What makes the Treadman unique and an invaluable tool for stair tread installers is its design and functionality, which provides both novices and seasoned professionals with fast, accurate adjustments and perfectly cut stair treads that conform to the most challenging stair treads you may encounter. The Treadman is a portable and lightweight tool, weighing 6 1/2 lbs. Our standard unit won't leave you tired at the end of the day carrying it back and forth along the stairway. The Treadman quickly adjusts and precisely conforms to each individual step and securely locks your treads and steps to the specific dimensions you will be cutting your step to. The Treadman serves as a template and cutting guide. Made from 1/16" steel plates and built to withstand a lifetime of cutting. With large, easy-to-adjust knobs and spring-loaded edge plates, the Treadman makes your next measurement as quick and easy as your last. The standard Treadman unit has the ability to extend in length from 35 1/4" to 61 1/2", and with three other optional extension kits, the Treadman's range will extend from 24" to 9' 1/2"! The Treadman Rubber Stair Tread Thickness Gauge automatically adjusts from 1/32" to 1/4". The optional carrying case is made of bladeless high-density polyethylene, which expands and transforms into a strong, durable cutting surface, specifically designed to cut and handle rubber stair treads up to 6 1/2 feet in length. An overall cutting surface of 13 1/2" x 6' A 3 3/4" with a 1 7/8" vertical surface is provided for cutting stair nosings. With very little practice and time, you will have mastered this tool, which, in turn, will reward professionals with time savings and perfect results.
