How do I measure for the right Proknee knee pad size?

Proknee knee pads are fitted to the length of your leg. The size is your A-B measurement, in inches. Measure in 3 steps:

  1. Take off your shoes.
  2. Standing with your leg straight and foot flat, measure from the floor to the top of your kneecap: this is your A-B measurement.
  3. Wearing your work pants, measure around the widest part of your calf: this is your C measurement.

Order the size that matches your A-B measurement. The C measurement tells you whether you need the 0714 Standard or the 0714E Wide frame.

0714 Standard or 0714E Wide: which one should I choose?

It depends on your C measurement: the widest part of your calf, measured over your work pants.

  • Under 17.5": 0714 Standard, with a 5-1/4" wide kneeseat.
  • 17.5" or more: 0714E Wide, with a 7-3/16" wide kneeseat for larger legs.

The size (A-B measurement) is chosen the same way for both models.

1" or 5/8" cushion: which one should I choose?

Over 75% of Proknee users prefer the 1" cushion. It is recommended if:

  • you spend 8 hours or more a day on your knees;
  • you have knee problems or have had knee surgery;
  • you weigh 200 lbs or more;
  • you want maximum protection.

The 5/8" cushion suits thinner legs better: the knee cup is deeper, but there is less cushioning.

How do I know my Proknee knee pad fits properly?

When kneeling, your knee should sit snugly in the cradle of the knee cup, and your thigh should line up with the front edge of the cushion, within 1/4".

If it doesn't, check your A-B measurement or contact us before ordering another size.
