PROVA-FLEX® is a durable, lightweight tile underlayment that prevents cracks in concrete slabs and is an easy-to-install, less labor-intensive alternative to backer boards over wood subfloors.

  • Features a patented Shear Stress Control® system with a non-woven anchor layer to neutralize stress caused by subfloor movement.
  • The mesh on top ensures a superior mechanical bond with the cured mortar that secures the tiles to PROVA-FLEX®, while the bottom layer neutralizes stress caused by lateral substrate movement in all directions, protecting the surface tile.
  • Eliminates cracking in tile
  • Premium, fast-setting mortar required for installation
  • Certified as EXTRA STRONG by TCNA (ASTM C627)
