ROBERTS 2980 is a contractor-grade, multi-purpose adhesive formulated for installing most types of carpet and felt-backed sheet vinyl. It provides longer air time for optimal placement of felt-backed vinyl flooring and develops adhesion for installing rigid-backed carpet. This product contains Microban, an antimicrobial product protection that helps fight the growth of stain- and odor-causing bacteria that can lead to product degradation. This adhesive covers up to 16.7 m² per 3.78 L (180 sq ft per gallon) depending on trowel type, substrate, and installation conditions. Made in Canada, it offers a 2-year shelf life from the production date when stored in its original, unopened packaging and a lifetime warranty for installations performed by a certified flooring industry association professional.
