Product Information

ROBERTS expansion joint spacers are designed to create the necessary space between the flooring and the wall in floating floor installations. When the flooring manufacturer's instructions are followed, these spacers create enough room to allow the flooring to expand and contract without damage. Use one spacer for a 1/4" expansion joint or two spacers placed opposite each other for a 3/8" expansion joint. These spacers are used to space expansion joints around the perimeter of floating floors. They prevent the flooring from shifting during installation. Made of durable, compression-resistant hard plastic. The serrated surface locks the spacer in the correct position once a plank is placed against it.
