Description

To complete the wide range of scrapers, RUBI offers professionals several options. The first is the traditional RUBI grout scraper, which features an ergonomic handle and two highly abrasion-resistant electroplated tungsten carbide plates. These plates can be combined with 1, 2, or 3 plates depending on the width of the tile joint to be cleared. Each electroplated tungsten carbide plate is 2 mm thick. Therefore, the minimum joint width to be treated with this scraper is 2 mm, with the possibility of extending the joint width up to 6 mm. The RUBI grout scraper is very practical for repair work where only a few ceramic tiles need to be replaced. By removing the grout before replacing the broken ceramic tiles, we will reduce the risk of damaging the surrounding tiles in good condition. And in the same way, we will gain space to install the new pieces, which could have small dimensional differences if they belong to different production batches or different manufacturers. The second is the RUBISCRAPER-250 electric scraper and its modern blade (registered design). The RUBISCRAPER-250 is the safest option for removing cement-based installation joints, because unlike others, its tungsten carbide blades do not work by friction; on the contrary, they dig in and tear off the grouting materials. Thanks to its ergonomic design and three working speeds, the RUBISCRAPER-250 allows you to carry out small repairs and replacements of a few pieces or renovations of all the joints in a tiled surface. The replaceable blades of the RUBISCRAPER-250 can be sharpened and are available in several sizes, to adapt to the different widths of existing joints. At RUBI, we have always been concerned about the health of professionals. When designing our tools, the concept of ergonomics is always very present, as we believe that safety and minimizing the risk of injury at work are essential for health and proper execution. RUBI's training approach with professionals is latent. A clear example of this is that, since the company's creation, participation in international fairs has played a key role in its development. At RUBI, significant investments are made in participating in international fairs and exhibitions so that our international recognition continues to grow and we can continue developing solutions that facilitate the work of professionals in the sector around the world.
